Europe

Multiple Countries

Europe offers a diverse range of lifestyle travel experiences, from established communities in Spain, France, Germany, and the Netherlands to lifestyle-friendly resorts and events across the Mediterranean. European lifestyle culture has a long history and tends to be more integrated into mainstream culture than in North America.

Spain is one of the most popular European lifestyle destinations, particularly the Costa del Sol, Ibiza, and Barcelona. The country has a relaxed attitude toward nudity and adult entertainment, and several well-regarded lifestyle resorts and clubs operate throughout the country.

France has an established naturist tradition, particularly in the Languedoc-Roussillon region and on the Île du Levant. The country also has an active lifestyle community in Paris and other major cities.

Germany and the Netherlands have large, organised lifestyle communities with established clubs, events, and social spaces.

Best time to visit: May through September for Mediterranean destinations. Northern European destinations are accessible year-round.

Getting there: Major European hubs including London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Madrid have direct connections from Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Budget carriers offer affordable connections within Europe.

Practicalities: Canadian citizens do not require a visa for tourist travel to Schengen Area countries for stays up to 90 days. The euro is the currency in most EU countries.
