Why Clubs Have Rules

Lifestyle clubs exist to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for their members. Rules are not bureaucracy — they are the infrastructure that makes that environment possible. Understanding and following the rules is a basic responsibility of every member.

Universal Rules

Across virtually every reputable lifestyle club, you will find the following rules:

No means no, always and immediately. Any refusal must be accepted gracefully, without pressure or argument.

No phones in play areas. Photography and filming of other members is strictly prohibited.

Consent is required for all physical contact. Touching without permission is never acceptable.

Respect the privacy of other members. What happens at the club stays at the club.

Follow the dress code. Most clubs have specific dress requirements, particularly for play areas.

Club-Specific Rules

Beyond these universal rules, individual clubs may have their own specific policies around: who is permitted to attend (couples only, couples and single women, all adults), whether single men are admitted and under what conditions, specific play area rules (watching etiquette, joining rules), alcohol policies, and membership requirements.

Always review a club's specific rules before attending. Most clubs publish their rules on their website or provide them during the membership process.

What Happens When Rules Are Broken

Reputable clubs take rule violations seriously. Violations of consent rules typically result in immediate removal from the venue and permanent banning. Less serious violations may result in a warning or temporary suspension.

If you witness a rule violation, report it to club staff immediately. You are not responsible for enforcing the rules yourself, but you are responsible for reporting violations so that staff can address them.
