NSA
Lifestyle Glossary · relationship-structures
NSA is shorthand for “no strings attached.” People may use it to signal that they are not seeking a romantic commitment or that they prefer an encounter without expectations of an ongoing relationship.
The phrase does not erase responsibility, care, or the need for clarity. People can still have feelings, want privacy, need safer-sex conversations, or have limits around contact afterward. “No strings” should never be used to avoid an honest discussion.
Specific boundaries and active consent keep the meaning of the arrangement grounded in what both people actually agree to.
