Play Partner

Play partner is a broad term for someone with whom a person shares agreed adult play or intimate exploration. It may describe a one-time connection, an occasional connection, or a recurring arrangement, and it does not automatically mean the people are dating, exclusive, or available for future encounters.

The term can be useful because it leaves room for people to name a connection without imposing a romantic label. It should not be used to make assumptions about another person’s preferences, relationship status, or willingness to participate again.

Before and after any shared experience, consent and communication remain more meaningful than the label itself.
