Sapiosexual

Sapiosexual is a term some people use to describe a strong attraction to intelligence, curiosity, insight, or the way another person thinks. People may use it as a personal shorthand for what draws them in, rather than as a complete explanation of their sexuality or relationships.

Intelligence is expressed in many ways and is shaped by culture, education, disability, language, opportunity, and lived experience. Treating the label as a status test can create unnecessary hierarchy or exclude people unfairly.

As with any attraction label, it is most useful when people define what it means for themselves rather than assuming that it carries the same meaning for everyone.
