Vee

A Vee is a polyamorous relationship structure involving three people, where one central individual—often called the "hinge"—is romantically or sexually involved with two separate partners who are not involved with each other. Unlike a triad, which forms a closed triangle where all members are in a relationship together, a Vee relies on the hinge to bridge the two distinct connections. In this dynamic, the two partners who share a common lover but have no romantic or sexual bond between themselves are known as metamours.
