Electrosex

Electrosex is a label sometimes used for adult erotic contexts involving electrical stimulation. Communities do not always use the term in exactly the same way, and it may overlap with the broader category of electric play. It should not be mistaken for a low-risk activity simply because a setting is sexual or consensual.

Meaningful consent requires participants to understand that electrical activities can involve serious risk. The Risk-Aware Consensual Kink (RACK) framework can help keep risk acknowledgment visible, but this Glossary does not provide instruction, equipment information, or technique.
