Flogger / Flogging

A flogger is a multi-tailed implement that may be used in consensual impact play. Flogging refers to the broader practice or scene involving that kind of implement. Neither word tells someone what will feel comfortable, enjoyable, or acceptable to another person.

The important distinction is not the object itself but the agreement around it. People should be able to name their boundaries, revise them, and end participation without pressure. A Glossary definition does not replace informed, situation-specific safety education.
