Ice Play

Ice play is a form of consensual sensation play that centers on cold sensation. It may be part of a broader scene or simply an exploration of contrast and anticipation. People can experience the same sensation very differently, so no label can predict comfort or enjoyment.

The most useful approach is attentive communication: participants should be able to say what feels welcome, what does not, and when they want the experience to end. This definition is descriptive only and does not provide a method for practicing ice play.
